Boats.com will sponsor the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show’s “most popular attraction”, the Boardwalk in January 2012.
The announcement follows the launch of the new boats.com, which has launched websites across Europe, and is now positioned as a leading online marketplace for buying or selling a boat. The acquisition of Allboats.com in June 2011 means that the site features over 650,000 boats for sale in 173 countries worth over €135 billion.
The sponsorship of the Boardwalk at the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show, will include a branded, hospitality lounge area for dealers. The Boardwalk, which has been designed to look like a marina, allows visitors to view the boats as if they were in the water. The Boardwalk attraction was introduced to the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show in 2011 and has been reported as the highest trafficked area of the show by National Boat Shows.
Julian Gowing, general manager Europe, Boats.com said:
“Enhancing the direct relationship between boat dealers and boat owners is a key component of the suite of products and services we provide. Boats.com’s sponsorship of the Boardwalk and hospitality area provides a highly targeted experience for dealers and owners alike in an informal and friendly setting.”
Luxury Lifestyle & Supercar Showcase
As well as the Boardwalk, the Boat Show will feature a new Luxury Lifestyle & Supercar Showcase this year.
The display will be amongst the other toys for nearby Canary Wharf bankers who want to blow their bonuses in the South Hall at ExCeL London.
The plan is to showcase some of the most premium, luxury brands on the market such as Hirsh diamond jewellers, Mayfair Gallery, Wayne Pollock Travel offering bespoke holidays, Clive Christian and Range Rover. A range of high-end products from super cars, home products, leisure and health, jewellery, watches, eyewear and finance will be featured.
